Theresa Dunn is loving, compassionate, and caring — I wouldn’t trust anyone else to help my family during such a difficult time. The loss of my niece was sudden and devastating, impacting our family in ways we never could have imagined. From the very beginning, Theresa focused on learning about my niece as a person — as a daughter, mother, parent, and loved one. She didn’t immediately sit us down to discuss costs or arrangements. Instead, she genuinely cared about who my niece was and what our family was going through. On the day of the services, Brianna went above and beyond by taking my 10- and 12-year-old nieces into her office when they were struggling to process everything that was happening. Most recently, I had to bury my daughter, and once again, everyone showed my family so much kindness, care, and compassion during one of the hardest moments of our lives. The staff was amazing not only to me, but also to my granddaughters, who could not stop talking about how wonderful Brianna was to them. It brings tears to my eyes to say that I trusted no one else with my precious daughter’s remains except Theresa and Brianna Dunn. They treated her with dignity, love, and respect, and made her look absolutely beautiful. I am forever grateful for the comfort and care they provided to my family. The Team at Dunn and Son did a FANTASTIC JOB with the whole Funeral. If you live in the District of Columbia and have a hard time finding a funeral home to give your love one the BEST going home ceremony, Dunn and Son is the company to go with, and they REALLY, REALLY, CARE about their client(s).
