George Washington Memorial Parkway

I went there two months ago. On that day It was a holiday. There are full of crowded. That is a amused park for everyone. This is funny place.

Wonderful place to visit with school kids. It enhances their information about the country, it's constitution, history & formation of congress in the country.

The bridge crossing is longer than it looks! Great trail lots of lookout points to enjoy the views. Tons of people to keep you motivated.

Let’s start with parking first. If you plan on hiking the turkey run and heritage trail than make sure you park in lot C1. I repeat park in lot C1. My friend and I didn’t do trail research prior and we ended up parking in lot B. There was no long hiking trail from parking lot B. This park has tons of open restrooms which is rare in my opinion. Great place to have a moderate level hike near the Potomac River. I think we were on two separate trails this afternoon so this park does provide variety. The park has park benches and plenty of open field space for any outdoor activities. I loved the little stream that runs through the trail. It seems like a popular dog walking Park as well. I would recommend experiencing the park but please do your trail research ahead of time for a better experience.

Lovely place to walk, ride bikes, or stroll with a restless baby. Beautiful animal life and a pair of magnificent American eagles. Picnic tables in certain areas.
