I only laid my mom to rest at Fort Lincoln because those were her wishes, to be with her family but if it was up to me I would have put her at Harmony. My experience with the funeral planner was the worst. I wouldn't have wanted that for any family.

The level of professionalism displayed was unacceptable and lacked compassion during a time of grief. No facility entrusted with assisting families through funeral arrangements should be dismissive, argumentative, or interruptive, especially during such a difficult and emotional time. The staff’s behavior did not reflect the level of care, empathy, and professionalism that funeral home services are expected to provide. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I cannot recommend Fort Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery highly enough (10/5 stars!!) During one of the most difficult times for our family, Freddie Adams (General Manager, Mortician) was an absolute Godsend. From the very first call, he was there for us—meeting with us on short notice and staying by our side throughout the entire process. No call went unanswered, and no detail was too small for him to address. Freddie Adams went above and beyond to ensure our mother/grandmother received the beautiful farewell she deserved. He didn’t just do a job; he treated us like family. If you are looking for a place that will care for your loved one with true dignity and compassion, this is it. Thank you, Freddie, and the entire Fort Lincoln staff, for making a difficult time bearable.

I wanted to acknowledge Ms Erynn Powers who I had the pleasure of speaking with when I called Fort Lincoln Cemetery last week for an update on the medallion for our father’s plaque who was laid to rest in December of 2024. Ms Powers immediately looked into this matter after our family had patiently waited for over a year for this very honorable WWII Veteran medallion for our beloved father. After searching for his information, she informed me that our Dad’s medallion had recently been installed. She even took the time to go to our mom and dad’s burial location and took a picture of the plaque and immediately sent it to me. It looked beautiful. Our family is extremely grateful to Ms Powers and wanted to acknowledge her for her compassion and caring for others.

As a long-standing client with six lots, recent experiences have caused considerable distress and a feeling of disrespect towards our loved ones and our family. One of our primary concerns revolves around the management of floral tributes. This weekend, artificial flowers were placed in the vases of our family's sites. To our dismay, these relatively new arrangements were removed without any prior notice or apparent justification. This action is not only emotionally distressing but also raises questions about your staff's discretion and respect for grieving families. Furthermore, we have observed a troubling discontinuation of notifications regarding annual cleaning schedules. Historically, such notices allowed families to prepare, collect any cherished items, or simply be aware of impending maintenance. The absence of this vital communication now creates uncertainty and prevents us from adequately preparing for these events, which feels like a significant oversight in customer service and transparency. Perhaps most disconcerting is the evident pattern of selective enforcement of your established regulations. This selective treatment is unfair, undermines trust, and detracts from the respectful environment we expect for our dearly departed. We believe that all families deserve consistent, fair, and respectful treatment. Stay away from here if you’re buying a regular lot since the priority are the estate lots.
