My wife, who has late stage dementia, moved to the Memory Care part of The Carrollton a short while ago. Jen, the person who provided the information about the place and helped with the transition paperwork was great. The physical facility is very clean and very nice. Upon moving the nurses and assistants on the third floor, and in general, have been quite attentive to her needs, very helpful and always friendly. The food is as good as one can expect for such a facility and is heated individually for her once she is ready to eat. Overall there is a calming atmosphere with the other residents seeming content. The price is very competitive with other memory care facilities that cost the same or more with a level of service that is not as high as at The Carrollton.

The Carrollton New Orleans is, in a word, lovely. I toured several assisted living facilities throughout the city when I was looking for a place for my father to move to after surgery and rehab. From the moment I walked into the Carrollton, I was greeted warmly by reception and given a tour by the fantastic Sales and Marketing Leader, Candice Carpenter. I knew right away that I had found the perfect place for my dad. The staff are warm, helpful and have been extremely accommodating and flexible throughout the whole process in helping him adjust to his new living situation. We had to find a place for him very quickly, due to his medical situation, and they were adept at coordinating all the moving parts in a very professional and efficient manner. The facilities are cheerful, bright and tastefully decorated. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous. They have lots of opportunities for the residents to socialize and get out for activities. When my dad, a retired English professor, proposed the idea of a book club to the delightful Executive Director, Sai Raj Kappari, he was enthusiastic and he is helping to make the book club happen as we speak! Moving into an assisted living facility is uncharted territory for my father, and it feels really good that he is in such a terrific place. A special thank you to Rachel, Kim, Eleanor, Ellen, and Dinah. You have all made what could have been a very difficult transition very easy. It sets my mind and heart at ease knowing he is well cared for at the Carrollton New Orleans.

Several months ago we started looking to move my mother-in-law to another assisted living facility in uptown NOLA. It was a quick search and decision.
We found The Carrollton to be a beautiful facility — buildings, grounds and residences. There are plenty of activities and resident services to keep all as busy as they wish.
The staff and leadership were very courteous and continue to be easily accessible and open to frequent caregiver updates and suggestions. We see a lot of interaction between leadership and the residents, also.
My mother-in-law seems very comfortable in her new environment, which makes us feel we, as a team, made the right decision.

The Carrollton deserves nothing less than 5 stars for the outstanding care they provide. Our loved one has been embraced by a compassionate and professional team, ensuring their every need is met with kindness and expertise. From the front desk concierge to the executive director everyone goes above and beyond. The facility itself radiates comfort and elegance, making it a true home where residents are cherished and celebrated. We are deeply grateful for the peace of mind this community brings to our family.

Visited The Carrollton this morning with a group of classmates who attended Franklin High School, which was on that site. The executive director, Sai Raj Kappari, gave us a tour, and we were SO impressed. Gorgeous facility. Immaculately clean. Beautiful community spaces and fantastic rooms. The artwork throughout is local and amazing!
I was not the only one thinking it would be wonderful to live there!
