Sonata Senior Living

This is the good, the bad, and the ugly on Sonata Boca Raton Assisted Living Facility. The good... food is great, great activities, great PT and OT. The bad and the ugly... once or twice a month, my mother-in-law is stuck in bed in the morning for at least an hour because an aide has not helped her get up and get dressed because they are understaffed. There have also been times in the night or morning when she cannot get help when she has to use the bathroom. (We are paying extra for the most assistance) This is frustrating and depressing for her, and she has called me crying : (

My Mother was a nasty, miserable woman prior to her move to Sonata. Now she is happy and sweet and I have my life back! We both won!!

I toured memory care and was very impressed with how clean looking and smelling the community was and how the the residence is laid out like a private home. The shared living room, dining room and kitchen look just like you would see in a fancy home. The bedrooms are larger than i have seen looking at multiple memory care residences. I especially like that There is a full bathroom with handicap shower in each individual bedroom.

Over the past few weeks I've get to know the team at Sonata and have been really impressed with how they operate and how they work. They're great people.
