The place employs one horrible person. I have had loved one dying while visiting DC and we live out of state. We had to do cremation due to our religious belief in DC. The person was visiting USA so his cremated ashes were needed to be carried out of country immediately after cremation for further rituals. They charged for the cremated certificate which is fine but their notary notarized this certificate with a wrong name spelling. We being out of town people and religious requirement of carrying ashes overseas next day, we requested this certificate to be reissued with correct name on Saturday. This particular employee was extremely rude and scolded us outside his facility upto the point where we felt humiliated and threatened. He was clearly very prejudice for our religious belief which makes no sense as their entire income is probably from people like me as other religions don’t do cremation. The notary error is their mistake and this facility should fire this particular employee and if he is the owner, the governing authority should take a note and action on this. The notary license was being held by another lady and she had to come in on Saturday to correct her error which was used as reason by this employee to mistreat us.
