Sunrise at River Road

Very clean and well decorated place! Love that they decorate for holidays. Unfortunately most the care people don’t know how to put a smile on their face and that goes for some of the servers too. One even wears a mask and looks sick, not sure why they would think she should be serving. The new girl miss hope, lives up to her name. Such a sweetheart! Good luck to her on her new job!

My husband‘s grandparents stayed here for one month.. We were quoted 11,700 for the both of them and within that first month we were told it was going up to 16,000. We would have never come to this place had we thought they would charge us so much the price was continually being changed even after we left. Also, we paid a month to hold the apartment while they weren’t even living there so in total we probably paid about $30,000 just to get them in (when you include the administration fees). I really feel like this was a bait and switch situation. We came from Florida and had to do everything over the phone and through FaceTime. The caregivers are really sweet and helpful and care about their clients. However, the accounting department, sales department, and management do not care and it shows.

Everyone in this facility is helpful, nice and always with smiles. The Resident Care Director is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me every time I stop by.

My mother has been at Sunrise at River Road for about 10 months and we are extremely pleased. She never thought she would move from her home she lived in for over 40 years. We looked at a few places, but this one stood out above all. The staff is always welcoming & helpful. The facility is always clean & the food is really good. There are different room sizes to choose- studio, 1 bdrm, & 2 bdrm that all have microwaves, refrigerators, roll in shower. Not only has my mother found a new place to live she has also made many new friends. She loves the back patio where she can watch birds & enjoy the sun. There are many daily activities for the residents & they do fundraisers for charities. There are all different levels of care including memory care. Guest are welcome at any time and residents are able to come and go as they would like. This is a beautiful community that is warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this community for anyone needing a little more help with their daily life.

Sunrise is a beautiful community, with gorgeous views. It offers Independent, Assisted and Memory Care. They offer large apartments, tons of outdoor spaces and have many events specialized towards the residents interests. I have toured my clients there and the residents are so happy and love living there. They have employee longevity, which means a lot to me and my clients. Fonda the sales director is an incredible asset to our senior living community. She has helped me many times! I visited today and they have decorated it so festive!
