Go to DC‼️‼️ It is an amazing place in every way. Just spent 3 days there and attended 4 hr concert with Sean Fuecht and Eddie James on Saturday and the 250 yr Rededication of America back to God on. Sunday. Museum of American history and don't miss the museum of Native Americans where I always eat‼️‼️

When you arrive here please don't let the stairs intimidate you. Every step is worth reaching the top. I can't tell you what a privilege I felt to enter inside this building. There is more than just an aersome statue that resides here. Please read the plaques on the wall to your right and left upon entering. They are historical speeches from Abraham Lincoln himself in 1863 and 1865. They are brilliantly etched in marble during the 8 year construction from 1914 to 1922. The work looks as if they were completed yesterday. A 1.5 million dollar renovation is currently underway under President Trump's request for the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Make sure to visit when that is done for better pictures. A MUST GO TO. Save your pennies!! 😉😉

The National Mall is one of those places that really lives up to the hype. Walking through it feels like stepping into the heart of American history—every direction you look, there’s something iconic.
From the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument and all the memorials in between, everything is laid out in a way that makes it easy to explore at your own pace. The views are incredible, especially around sunset when the monuments light up and reflect off the water—it’s something you won’t forget.
What I appreciated most was how clean, open, and accessible everything is. Whether you’re there to take in the history, get a workout walking the entire stretch, or just relax on the grass, it’s a great experience all around.
If you’re anywhere near D.C., this is a must-see. Pictures don’t do it justice—being there in person hits different. Five stars without question.

The National Mall is a large open park area in Washington, D.C. with iconic monuments and museums.
It stretches from the United States Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial.
Free Smithsonian museums to go for. Definitely worth going and checking them. We have been to National Air and Space Museum and I can't praise enough for what we saw. A must watch and worth going. It has great collections of aircraft and space craft, very educational to kids.

I love DC. It's even better since Trump had it cleaned up. We live 40 minutes away. In the last 4 months, we have been downtown at least 6 times. Always something going on. And, we feel safe!
