I am forever grateful to Judi’s House for helping my family through our time of grief. It’s truly amazing to know that there is support out there for families like ours. The staff was wonderful and always so caring.

I reached out to Judi’s House in late March seeking grief support for my daughter. I chose them because of their reputation for helping grieving children and families. Intake wasn’t scheduled until mid-June, which we understood given their policy of waiting at least two months after a loss.
What’s frustrating is that we felt forgotten as we didn’t hear anything again until July 23, over a month of silence with no updates or communication.
For an organization focused on supporting grieving children, that kind of gap is deeply disappointing. It made us feel overlooked at a time when consistency and care are essential. Judi’s House presents itself as a place that walks beside families, but our experience made us feel forgotten. That kind of silence in the midst of a child’s grief is hard to forget.

My son and I attended Judi’s house after we lost his dad to suicide. While we did have to wait for counseling availability due to the large number of clients (let that sink in), it was worth the wait. We attended in 2022, but my son still talks about it and asks to go back. It was incredibly healing and we found a sense of community that we were previously lacking - especially with the stigma of suicide in today’s society. I definitely recommend Judi’s House for anyone that suffers the loss of a parent or another special person in their life.

We lost my son's father earlier this year. Judi's house has been an AMAZING place to help my son. For 6 months, he refused to talk about anything related to his dad. On group days, he gets up and is EXCITED to go and be with other kids who get him.
Their counselors are amazing and compassionate.
THANK YOU Judi's house. From the bottom of my heart.

My girls and myself attended Judi's House and the experience was beyond helpful for all of us. The girls connected really well with the counselors and their peers. It helped them not feel as alone in dealing with their dad's passing. I would highly recommend Judi's House.
