Heaven Bound Cremation Services of DC

Very communicative when it came to them receiving payment. Never heard from them again. Did a quick search and found out about the mistreatment of the deceased. Never even thought to notify of the situation at hand. Terrible, disappointed, & disgusted

0/10 do not recommend. Knowing this company's crematory operator registration has been suspended indefinitely because of decomposing bodies that have been piled up is a travesty. Rosa and Brandon deserve life in jail for how they run their business and devastate families. My dad's brother passed away May 8, 2024 but my family did not find out until December 12, 2024 so I immediately paid the DC Medical Examiner for the cremation they did of his body because my family wanted to plan a memorial as soon as possible. The Medical Examiner's office told me to reach out to Heaven Bound to pick up his remain which I did. This office has been difficult to contact, they doesn't return calls and when I did get a meeting with Rosa and Brandon on January 3, 2025, they did not have my uncle's remains and assumed I wanted to meet to plan a service. Rosa offered to bring his remain to my job a few days later since I work a few block away but she never called or showed up. I tried calling multiple times in that week from different numbers and January 10, 2025 I finally spoke with Brandon who said he knew nothing about this and would call back right away which he didn't. I went on vacation January 11, and when I got back in town January 22, I tried reaching out again but got no answer. After reading the Washington Post article about them today, I really hope and pray my Uncle isn't one of those bodies that was left to not be cremated by this company.

My father passed away unexpectedly and Charnique, Brandon and the Heaven Bound team was amazing, sympathetic and nurturing during this difficult time. My family and I greatly appreciate them. We highly recommend!

The entire staff at Heaven Bound were pleasant, patient and professional. From start to finish they lovingly explained the process and kept in contact with us at each step. you guys are the most human beings persons in the world. In moments like this is when you see how helpful is to find people like all of you. December until now was very hard for me, but I always kept on my mind to come and spread this comment and show people that you can find angels on your way even if you are in your worse moments.
