Vista Verde Memorial Park

I’ve reached out for an update on my mother’s memorial marker and haven’t received a call back. This lack of communication is very disappointing, especially since both my mother and daughter are buried here.

We've been using them for the last 38 years (starting with my grandpa) and now I'm only 38 and partner is 43, but getting ahead of the game. Sharea Major is absolutely helpful and always willing to listen. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, comfortable, and makes you feel like family. Thank you Vista Verde family! ❤️

I am beyond furious at finding the bouquet of flowers that I spent tons of time putting together for my daughter's 15th birthday gone. Just trashed, when I purposely buy fake flowers so that they can last there longer. Do not ever leave your loved one here because they do not and cannot seem to have any form of respect for even leaving flowers at their grave. I'm FURIOUS and will tell everyone not to use this place. Who do you think you are to remove what people put out after barely any time passing. Furious!!!

Memorial plaque was paid for in full before death. Took Vista Verde Memorial Park 3 months to request production of memorial plaque, probably longer had I not inquired about it. All that should have been needed was the year of death added had they done their job as requested in the beginning. It’s been 6 months…still no plaque. There was also a last minute rush to get the death certificate after having almost a month to obtain. Requested and paid for a flag to be present at memorial service since deceased was an honorary veteran. Not a flag in sight! Attention to detail seems to be almost nonexistent here, causing additional stress to an already stressful situation. Laying to rest a loved one is never a joyful or stress free experience. Dragging out this memorial plaque is not conducive to a peaceful closure. People want to come from out of town to pay respect and they can’t and won’t until they see the final place of rest, including the memorial plaque. How much longer do they have to be denied? It’s pathetic! The incompetence of this memorial park has assured me I will most definitely make it a point to be buried elsewhere. I don’t want anyone I leave behind to go through this. 5/21/2024 UPDATE: 9 MONTHS AND STILL NO MEMORIAL PLAQUE. PATHETIC!

Horrible service, staff is incompetent, they refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. Refused to provide deed paperwork for paid in full plots. Their mower damaged my grandfathers headstone and tried to blame it on us putting flowers there. There needs to be a staff overhaul or management change. Staff has also lost payments, thankfully receipts were requested and kept on my mom's part. It's sad that they run this place the way they do because there are not too many options.
