My mom brother and myself went to Tr State funeral hope seeking a place to have a home going service for my step father. Mr Milton and Miya was amazing with providing us with information and direction that we needed to even take to start the journey that we had upon us because we never having to put a loved one to rest. There service and direction was phenomenal even with the picking of the casket and suit we laid him to rest in.Mr Milton made sure he was dressed very well and we thank him for that. Now when it comes to Miya she is one of a kind anything that we needed didn't understand gave her a call she always answered or returned a call or text without hesitation and with so much patience kindness and care she gave and for that we will forever be greatful... If we could give her anything above five stars we would...We thank you for the kindness and patience that you gave us. We're forever grateful and thankful from the bottom of our 💕

Milton Tellington, funeral director of Tri-State Funeral Services customer service needs major improvement. He exhibited unprofessionalism once payment was received! As mentioned in prior reviews, he was rude and very impatient. What should have been a stress-free experience while mourning my husband's loss turned into trivial personal attacks against family members when we requested to divide ash remains into 4 urns. He also made several comments on how his time was valuable while delaying cremation by approximately 14 days once my husband's body was transported from the hospital. A certificate of cremation was provided with the date of disposition being a different date than the death certificate disposition date? When I visited the funeral parlor after days of delay on a rainy day to pick up the death certificate and the urn (s), Milton proceeded to hand me the above items after opening the door without me entering to discuss the items inside the retaped Amazon box. A quick friendly conversation would have been expected after establishing a business relationship but his preference was to leave me in the rain. Kudos to his apprentice, Miya who delivered service with a smile. I feel compelled to contact the overseeing authority that regulates funeral directors. In summation, if cremation services can be obtained elsewhere would be my recommendation.

THANK YOU TRISTATE FUNERAL HOME : My nephew was tragically taken from us too soon, and I was left to handle his going home service here in the states and back home in Cameroon . From the time I called Mr. Milton my experience was stellar . Mya welcomed me with open arms made herself available around the clock not to mention her professional, compassionate and knowledgeable spirit made this process so much easier. There are not enough words to express how grateful me and my family are for you all.
