Sterling Care Rockville Nursing

Picked this place initially as a SNF for my dad given it is walking distance to my home. It turned out to be a great decision. I know nursing home can be a real hit/miss, but Sterling is a hit! The staffs are attentive, responsive and in general very caring. We stay for close to 3 months and visited almost every day, so I can say it for a certainly as I see it on the daily. Highly recommended. 5 stars!

My mother is recovering here from knee replacement surgery and I am so grateful! Nurses here are great and JP, the physical therapist is a true standout. His positivity has helped my mom push herself even when in pain and she has already made tremendous improvements in her mobility. Grace, the activity director, is also a bright light! She is so kind and helped my mother feel so welcomed. And my mother is really enjoying the activities. If you have a loved one in care, you know it makes all the difference to know they are happy and well taken care of. I am so grateful to them!

If you have a loved one who can’t care for themselves and need constant attention (a nurse that at least goes every hour) DO NOT bring them here. Nurses take a very long time to show up. If there is no one in the room they will not receive the care and treatment they require. And do not get me wrong, the people are nice, but the attentiveness is not it. Nurses don’t do much either. In the five hours that i was there, the nurse only went to check up on my family member ONCE at 9PM and didn’t do nothing but do a covid test and that’s it. Since the first day we got to this nursing home, everything felt off! Also, the room was NOT ready. The cabinets and room its self was/is dirty and still had old belongings from the previous patient. The windows are super dusty. the bedside cabinet was super sticky on the top. I do not know how this place has almost five stars! people need to be more honest about EVERYTHING. Don’t give it a 5 star rating over a few positives when there are more negatives!

I had a great experience with Sterling Care Rockville. The staff was kind, attentive, and truly compassionate. They took the time to make sure that my sister was comfortable, cared for, and treated with respect. Communication was clear, and it was reassuring to see how dedicated the team is to providing quality care. Now THIS is a nursing facility! Wow. The building is beautiful and renovated, the rooms are clean and fresh, the staff have all been so nice. I highly recommend Sterling Care Rockville for any nursing, long term nursing and rehab care!
