Not a good trial lawyer. He failed to submit crucial evidence, showed up to trial unprepared and also failed to obtain the most important documents for a probate case, the specific Will at question and the POA at question nor did he submit the most crucial evidence that would have invalidated the will at question. He led us to believe that he was submitting evidence to the court. At a couple of points during his questioning the defense seemed to find him amusing and the judge chastised him for his confusion and inability to make a point. After the trial I did bring up the possibility of an appeal, he discouraged it. He did not respond to our calls or emails after that, he ghosted us. A month later the judge ruled against us. Throughout communication was poor, i.e., text, email, phone, and he never really seemed to have a strategy however with the amount of evidence we still felt confident. I would never refer him to anyone, Mr. Taylor's priority seems to just take clients for the easy money.

I had a great experience with RISM Law. I spoke with Jason during a free consultation, and he genuinely took the time to break things down in a way that made sense. He didn’t rush the call, he listened, asked the right questions, and gave me clear direction on my situation. You can tell he knows D.C. real estate law inside and out.
I’ve spoken with a few attorneys before, but Jason stood out — not just for his expertise, but for how approachable and transparent he was. It felt less like a sales pitch and more like an actual strategy session.

I can't recommend Jamison highly enough! I urgently needed an attorney twice and worked with him on a complex real estate situation that involved a last minute issue with a purchase contract. He guided me through the closing process, helping me get out of an agreement when unexpected issues arose, and ultimately navigating the purchase of a foreclosed property with multiple liens.
He is RESPONSIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND THOROUGH. He explained everything in plain language and made sure my interests were fully protected. His strategic advice saved me from what could have been a very costly mistake.
My recommendation is to call him if you have any questions, in one phone call you’ll stop feeling overwhelm and leave feeling confident and protected. I've recommended him to others and will continue to do so. He is HIM....and he is that Good!

I hired attorney Jamison Taylor to assist with a landlord tenant matter in 2022. Initially, Mr. Taylor was responsive and helpful with the necessary steps need for an eviction and to recover months of unpaid rent. However, Mr. Taylor became less responsive which resulted in me calling several times a month for an update on my case. His response was often that he was busy in court and hadn’t had a chance to follow up.
I was awarded a judgment and we discussed filing the judgement in the land records and well as trying to recover funds from the tenants bank account in May 2023. Despite calling and leaving multiple messages with his secretary from May 2023 though May 2024, I still have not heard from Mr. Taylor.
I recently found out that the judgement was just for possession and that additions steps are needed to collect unpaid rent.
I would not recommend his services for landlord tenant issues. I paid a lot of money for subpar service and I will end up having to handle the matter myself to resolve my legal issue.

I reached out to RISM LLC concerning my unique situation and Attorney Jamison Taylor was an absolute gem during my first telephone inquiry. Not only was he very helpful & knowledgeable, he took time to listen & answer my questions with such professionalism and PATIENCE! I had to emphasize patience because it's rare especially with law firms! Trust, you will be in good hands with this law firm. (Top Notch!!)
