We typically go to the interviews or lectures associated with book releases. We’ve been to several now and the tickets typically come with a signed copy of the book. The seating arrangement means that there’s really no bad seat in the house. Ideally, you get there early to get a better seat obviously. They do have a bar for those types of events as well.

I was here for the Binging with Babish cookbook tour. It was really nice to visit a place I'd probably passed by numerous times in DC but never been to. The building itself is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and inviting. I'll definitely try to come back next time another event that peaks my interest comes by!

I’ve seen Pete Yorn, Emily Haines, and Julian Lage here. All the shows were great, sounded great too. It’s a really beautiful venue. Entry process, and staff were good experiences as well. Only downfall is the restricted view seats, and the fact tickets are sold for a capacity including those spaces. This combined with people not moving closer together just kind of sucks. It is what it is, still 5/5. Photos from Julian Lage and Izzy Oram Brown.

The building itself is historic and it's architecture is classic & beautiful! The concert I attended was pianist Matthew Whitaker: the performance was phenomenal!!! I would gladly visit Sixth & I for a tour! As a native Washingtonian, this is an architectural and historical gem!
