As a proud member of 30+ years, I've had the privilege of witnessing the church's evolution from Bishop Owens and Co-Pastor Susie to now under the leadership of Pastor Carter and Lady C. It’s clear that while the leadership may have changed, my commitment to the church and the spiritual growth that I'm experiencing is unwavering. Membership is valuable, especially in times of transition. I appreciate the foundation that was laid and also recognize the necessity of change for continued growth and thriving in 2025. I'm not just enduring the change, but actively participating in it with enthusiasm. I love my church, and I love my pastors. Calvary has been a pillar of support and community for me and my family, especially as a young woman navigating life in the heart of Brentwood, DC. Thank you Calvary for being my village!!

I’m old school Bishop Owen’s and Co Pastor Susie Owen’s are very good preachers!! But they are old now and it is Pastor Carter now that is the Pastor. The church isn’t the same to me! I was a member since 1996 Bishop preach to mind and heart Co-Pastor did well to. Bishop invited very very good preachers the was big time on TV. But now I’m not feeling the new leadership of the church and it just not for me no more.

I love my church. It's sometimes old-fashioned, but there's no place like home. I'm been a member for over 20 years. Parking can be a challenge, but where in DC is parking not? God is here.

Been a member for 30 plus years. My boys were baptized here when my church wouldn't. They're undergoing staff changes that don't feel good to some but I drive a long way to get my word. I'm on the prayer line every Monday morning for past 30 years. Absolutely love love love Bishop and Copaster.

My Husband and I attend the church we have been members since 2015, We enjoy rhe family ministry the preaching from the Bishop, Co-Pastor and ofher Ministry Staff. Truly a blessing. Gale & Phillip Bradley
