Very welcoming church. It is a small warm and friendly church with strong family foundations. Rev. Terri is very a eloquent preacher. When I first arrived at Shepherd Park Christian Church I wasn't quite sure if I was in the right place. I saw many Ethiopians in their traditional dress standing in front of Shepherd Park Christian Church. I asked several of the Ethiopians if this was Shepherd Park Christian Church. They replied yes it is so I proceeded to find the church entrance. I walked to the white door but it was locked then I went to the red door and it was open. I attended Bible study lead by Rev. Terri and met several other church members. Each Shepherd Park Christian Church member greeted me warmly. I enjoyed the Sunday worship service and Coffee Hour after church. I learned later that an Ethiopian Church rents out the Shepherd Park Christian Church for service before the regular home church service. There is also a large International Evangelical Ethiopian Church next door to Shepherd Park Christian Church. Parking for Shepherd Park Christian Church is on the street, in the small church parking lot or across the street behind the Colombo Bank Building on King Street at the 13th - King Street parking garage.
