My wife and I had an initial set of revocable trusts prepared for us 15 years ago. As our situation evolved over the years, we realized that these trusts no longer suited our requirements and were way too wordy and complicated. Our financial advisor recommended that we discuss our situation with Lisa Mathews at Mathews Law, PLLC. His recommendation was spot on. Lisa listened to our concerns and drafted a new revocable trust for me and recommended that my wife’s situation did not require a trust. The trust she drafted was exactly what we wanted – straightforward, not full of excessive legal prose, and accurately addressed several nonstandard issues we had. There was excellent dialogue during the drafting process which greatly helped us understand the ins and outs of our final estate plan. Lisa was friendly, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. She and her team made estate planning easy and enjoyable, and we found the pricing to be very fair. I'm glad I chose Matthew's Law to set up my estate planning, everything went really smoothly from my initial phone call to the final document signing and (in house) notarization.
