I just have to take a moment to share how truly special The Grand at Spokane is. What makes this place shine the most is the incredible residents. They are kind, welcoming, and full of life.
The care staff goes above and beyond with compassion, patience, and genuine love for each resident. You can truly feel the heart they put into everything they do.
And let’s talk about the food, absolutely wonderful! Meals are delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and something everyone can look forward to. Housekeeping also deserves a huge shoutout for keeping everything so clean, fresh, and comfortable.
All around, it’s a beautiful community filled with warmth, care, and excellence. So grateful for all the amazing people who make it what it is!

My mom, my husband and I toured the facility last week and we were very impressed. We are looking at options for my mom as her home is getting a bit much for her. The tour could not have gone any better. Tracy chatted with us and asked my mom very good questions about herself and her life. We then toured the common areas as well as several different floor plan apartments. I already think my mom can see herself happy here. There are so many floor plan options, activities and opportunities to cuddle in or branch out as she sees fit. We have toured a few retirement communities and this one is head and shoulders above what we have seen.

We just moved my 94-year-old mother here, and our first few days have been wonderful. The staff has been incredibly kind and welcoming, the environment is beautiful, and the food is excellent.
Most importantly, knowing she can press her call button and someone is there to help gives our family tremendous peace of mind. Seeing how quickly and kindly the staff respond lets us know she is safe and well cared for. We’re very grateful she is here.

This community has recently tanked. Is pretty new so I’m surprised at how quickly it has happened. Upon completing some research, I found out that the Administrator and the nurse have been at 3 facilities
in 8 months. They have tanked every building they go to and now this is no different. We can’t get calls back, we can’t get warm meals, there’s no communication with grievances and the residents are not properly cared for, as nobody cares. Can’t get ahold of the nurse. The administrator can’t answer questions and doesn’t call you back. They bad mouth each other behind one another’s backs and they don’t mind telling families how overwhelmed they are. Hoping this company gets it right and makes a change for the better because it has gotten BAD.

Their driver/company vehicle was speeding around the South Hill and hit my car while recklessly driving. Didn’t have insurance on them and had to go to their community so they could find their insurance information. When entering the building to try to resolve the issue since there was damage to my car, their staff actively tried to recruit myself and the people riding in the car with me. Just an awkward encounter. Not sure if this is helpful info for anyone else but gave me a poor impression.
