Great facility, great team, great care for my mother! At the point it became clear that my mom required a higher level of care, I recall being anxious - and a little unsure - as we evaluated different providers, in particular because we were not living in the area and we were conducting our search from afar. After coming across Spokane Memory Care and meeting the people, our decision was made much easier. And each day during the year that followed, we were reminded of why we chose SMC - administrative and billing practices were transparent, communication was conducted regularly and empathetically, care was well-coordinated, and we never had any concerns that mom was safe and as happy as she could be throughout her stay. We truly appreciated SMC and continue to be enthusiastic supporters of the care and services they provide to patients and families, like ours, who are battling dementia and its many corresponding challenges.

Choosing memory care for a loved one is never easy, but this facility has given us peace of mind. The staff is warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Danielle, in particular, goes above and beyond - she is always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and treats residents and families with kindness and respect. The environment is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained (it even smells fresh every time we visit). We're so thankful for the excellent care my grandmother receives here.

Our mom was at another memory care facility on the south hill in Spokane for a while. But it just didn’t meet her needs. So we ended up taking her to Ciel of Spokane. This was the best decision we had ever made for our mom‘s care. For the 2 1/2 years that she was there before she passed the staff there absolutely cared for her, loved her, and she felt safe. She loved the activities that were provided by the facility, from going for drives, doing inside activities and just sitting outside on the back deck, enjoying the sunshine. As we visited with our mom, we had many times to be able to observe the staff interacting with other residents. It was clear that regardless of the job or position the employees had, the culture of Ciel emphasized relationships, care, and concern for the residents. We observed the staff caring about the residents, even when no one was watching. As we sat vigil waiting for our mom to pass many of the staff came by to show their love and respect for our mom. They even cared about us asking if there was anything that we needed, all we had to do was ask. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ciel of Spokane to anyone who has a loved one with memory issues and is looking for a place in Spokane.

Ciel is an excellent environment for those suffering from advanced dementia. They have experienced and caring staff that are quick to report concerns or problems as well as ensure a safe environment for their residents. They seem to have fun activities regularly and lots of things for their residents to do.

I would like to extend a Heart felt, Thank you to the Staff at Ciel of Spokane.. The staff is amazing and very professional, they took wonderful care of my Grandmother, the last few years! I especially like to Thank, Kendra the Director of Nursing for her excellent care, and professionalism in answering all questions, and putting my family at ease every time we visited! Thank you for all you do!!
