Never in a million years did I think my family and I would have to use the services of this fine establishment so soon in our lives. We lost our Beloved Son in November and we were totally lost and distraught. I didn’t know what to do so I started calling around to find somewhere to have my son’s service and to handle his cremation. I called Advent and God knew what and Who we needed at that time. Ms. Linda L., answered the phone and all my worries went away after talking with her. Ms. Linda is a Godsend, she walked us through everything and even attended our Sons service and to this day she calls and checks on my family. She is so caring and patient and that’s what families need during their times of grief. I highly recommend this establishment, Ms Linda and Jeff are phenomenal. God Bless them.

My mother passed away on November 12th. I had received a flyer in the mail from Advent and chose them based on their package listing online and proximity to my home. Their service arrived and the attendants were extremely respectful. They greeted our family with condolences upon entry into our home. They explained every step of the process as not to alarm us. Afterwards, I received a call from the Funeral Director, Jeff Price. Jeff expressed his condolences and ensured me he would do everything to make the process a smooth one. We met him at their Lanham location. Jeff was kind and patient as he walked us through the available offerings. I never once felt pressure to sign on for more than needed. Jeff was able to have our insurance payment processed quickly so that we could use those funds to cover their fees. One the day of the service, Jeff and his staff were timely, professionally dressed and assisted greatly with the processional and recessional of the Mass as well as getting her to her final resting place. I would definitely recommend Advent Funeral Services when the time comes. I felt they were honest, patient and made us feel like family during the worst time of my life.

My experience with Advent Funeral & Cremation Services was outstanding, from beginning to end. I was nervous about how my loved one would look in a casket. I was extremely pleased when I saw the body. She looked like herself, sleeping peacefully. Jeffrey Price, the funeral director, and Linda, who welcomed and comforted me throughout the whole experience, were PHENOMENAL! I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism.

Advent funeral home took the best care of my mother and my family during a really difficult time. Heather is absolutely a gem of a person. She was communicative, executed what we wanted, and all while being kind and caring. We will never forget what she did for us. Thanks!

Advent funeral & cremation services provided and excellent service to our family. Jeffrey Price, the funeral director, made a great impact and made a terrible moment in our lives go smooth. I’m extremely thankful and feel blessed to have worked with Jeffrey on my father’s funeral. He was professional, emphatic, patient, respectful, dedicated, and always willing to answer any questions regarding a painful and new process I was going through. I mentioned to Jeffrey a few concerns and deadlines I had regarding my father’s arrangements and a family member having to travel back home. He made our family’s plan work out.
