Thomas Jefferson Memorial Bookstore

This giftshop, located beneath the Jefferson Memorial, is one of the most relevant gift shops in DC as it relates to the monument to which it is associated. my big find was a scan of the Jefferson Bible. loved it!

Go under the stairs of the monument and pick up a souvenir. Great place to go and discover a little more about a founding father. Gift shop is well stocked, books, stickers, mugs, glasses, all the savings you could think of.

Romello and Whitney provided great service. We loved our shopping experience and are looking forward to coming back. They have a great selection with prices better than most places on the National Mall or the airport. The facility also provides bathroom and soon there will be a refurbished exhibition on the monument. Check this store out if you're visiting OR A LOCAL!

The Jefferson Memorial is visited less frequently than the Lincoln Memorial as it’s tucked away from the main part of the mall. It never disappoints as he was the main author of the Declaration of Independence, which is engraved on the walls surrounding his statue. Unfortunately, the store is temporarily closed due to construction. It was too cold to take a picture otherwise I would have included it here.

Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a must see along with walking from Capital Hill to Lincoln Memorial and visiting all other Memorials. I Shared only a few photos of our walk.
