I want to express my dissatisfaction with the living trust preparation process, which has taken five months to complete and has been marked by several significant issues. After paying the initial deposit and submitting the required forms, I received no communication for several weeks. Furthermore, I was required to pay the final fee before having a consultation or seeing any documents. The materials I eventually received did not align with my intentions, but rather reflected a literal interpretation of the forms. A brief consultation prior to drafting would have been far more efficient. Additionally, the subsequent revisions took several weeks and resulted in documents containing both graphical and factual errors. While I have now received the final versions, I remain concerned about their accuracy and have little confidence in their legal integrity.

I had an introductory call setup with them. The call was setup more than a week in advance. With less than 30 minutes notice, I receive an automated email notice that the meeting was cancelled. Just an automated message. No one reached out. I followed up and the person said the meeting was scheduled during a time he was busy. No apology, no immediate offer to reschedule. For a professional law firm, they should have noticed the issue much earlier and proactively reached out to reschedule and not at the last minute. It was their mistake and they didn’t even seem to care. I don't see how I would trust them with something as important as my legal needs with a firm that seems to value their time more than mine. I can’t speak to the quality of their legal services because I never got that far.

Hi! I have worked with this attorney on quite a few different issues and he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. What really sets him apart is he is super responsive - even gets back to me on weekends, holidays, and late at night. He has called me well after normal bedtime when I had an important issue that could not wait to the next day. I find few people in professional services have this level of responsiveness.

Poor management. I scheduled a review session in advance and received multiple reminder notifications leading up to the appointment that I promptly confirmed. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I received a last minute phone call from Dottie Gottfried that Jeffrey Katz could no longer make the meeting because his earlier client was late. She mentioned that they had to push all appointments out today because of this situation but somehow could not keep my appointment on the books. When I asked about the other appointments scheduled for the remainder of the day, she mentions that they have been affected by this as well but surprisingly they would all still be seen today by Mr. Katz. I asked her if they were going in the proper order, that I would be considered the next client in line. I had no issues with waiting until his current client was wrapped up, but somehow she says that it’s not possible to see me today. We can only reschedule two days from now - which would have been fine, but I had already received an extension from the party that I needed to have the document back to and this would further delay my response, so I declined. This firm is not reliable, understanding, honest, or accommodating. I would never seek out any other services from them again. I understand my request was very minimal compared to maybe other clients but I still deserved an opportunity to have my concern reviewed. I just don’t like the lies that I couldn’t be seen today when they should’ve just gone in order of clients and let the others know the same thing. Unprofessional!

I just finished my Initial Estate Planning meeting with Jeffrey Katz and Julianne. They were very profesional, taking their time to answer my questions in detail and reviewing all options that suited my case. They left me feeling confident in the plan that we came up together. Julianne, I appreciate you extra ability to explain any information and list the facts in a way that made me sure that I understood them. I would not have put this project off for such a long time if I had known that they could make it so straight forward. THANK YOU!
