Kippot are optional for men. Remember to stand for the “rabbis” as they tanz in, but whatever you do, don’t kiss the Torah!

WHC is warm and welcoming, The head rabbi Shankman is kind, caring, brilliant, thoughtful. All the other rabbis and cantors are wonderful. We have been members for about six years and we’re so happy we joined. It is such a very special place.

I have been lucky enough to go through my conversion process with WHC and have been so grateful for the amazing community I have found. The entire clergy is amazing and I am thrilled to be a member with them. The 2239 services in particular are amazing and I have felt so welcomed as a young professional. If you’re looking for an amazing community look no further!
