Very nice environment for the patients. The nurses and aides are so nice. My favorite is the nurse with the blonde dreads. I didn’t get her name. She is the most generous kind worker ever! She treat my resident very nice. She’s caring and attentive. And she gave me a warm hug before I left. And I really needed that. It’s just the little things that could bring a smile on your face. Thank the lord. She’s awesome! Thankyou so much for all you do ladies! You are guys are awesome!

I can’t give enough praise to Heart to Heart Hospice in Troy. My mother spent over a month there, and my family truly could not have asked for more. I was there every day and came to know the staff well. Each and every person was delightful, caring, and conscientious, and they consistently went above and beyond to make my mother comfortable.
It takes a truly special person to work in hospice care, and each member of the staff here is genuinely special! During such a difficult time, I was incredibly impressed and comforted by the support we received. Because of this experience, I plan to volunteer to help other families through the process and to support the wonderful staff who do such meaningful work. Thank you, Heart to Heart!

In the week between the time my grandma entered Heart 2 Heart's care and the time she left this life, my perception about hospice changed completely. This is not a place where people go to die -- it's a place where they (and their families) are treated with care, dignity, and respect during the most vulnerable time of their lives.
After multiple harrowing experiences in hospitals and other care facilities, my grandma finally experienced relief from the moment she settled into her room at H2H. It was quiet, spacious, and felt like a hotel room with fast and compassionate service. The staff-to-patient ratio is phenomenal, and my grandma never had to wait more than a minute for assistance, whether she needed relief from discomfort or simply a cup of crushed ice.
The staff were also patient and kind with our family during an incredibly stressful and emotional time. Our concerns or requests were never dismissed.
Every single staff member I interacted with was phenomenal, but I would be remiss not to give special recognition to two standouts:
Lisa is someone I will never forget, both for the impact she had on my family and the way she treated my grandma. She spoke to my grandma like they were lifelong friends, and her efficiency and manner every time she entered the room was both calming and energising. I could write a five-star review about her alone. Lisa, if you read this, please know that the chat we had on my grandma's last night kept me glued together. Thank you.
Dotty is someone I didn't have the pleasure of meeting myself, but my mom spoke very highly of her. By all accounts, she was a ray of light and love for both my grandma and my mom. I'm incredibly grateful that my grandma had such a person in her life, especially in her final days.
My family and I will forever be grateful for the experience we all had with H2H. Everyone should be so lucky to exit this life surrounded by care that truly feels like it comes from the heart.

Where do I even begin? 2024 rocked my world and turned it upside down. My husband and my father both passed away. Thankfully, they both were at Heart to Heart Hospice House. The compassion, love, and care provided by the staff was second to none.
I have recommended Heart to Heart Hospice to many people. In the hardest part of life, the gentleness of care at this facility cushioned the impact of the most difficult time of my life.
I'm now honored to be a volunteer.
God bless this wonderful place, the team, and those who come through those doors to live out the last part of their journey of this life.

All of the staff at Heart to Heart Hospice were amazing. They made a very difficult time a little easier for all of us. What impressed me most was the care they gave all of us. My dad was the patient in hospice, but they showed concern and support for all of us. Whether it was checking in, getting us a glass of water, a blanket, or a pillow, we felt supported there. They also genuinely care for their patients. It was incredibly touching when my dad passed how everyone showed how much he meant to them. I would recommend Heart to Heart Hospice to anyone looking for a place at this incredibly hard time in any family's lives. Thank you.
