HarmonyCares Hospice

It took me a while to write this review, my father-in-law passed away May 1st. We chose to go with Harmony Cares for hospice, as opposed to the palliative care company we were already with. My father-in-law was getting discharged from the hospital on Easter weekend and was going home on hospice. The company he was with for palliative care would not have been able to come and see him, or provide any of the necessary DME/supplies til after the holiday weekend. Harmony Cares was on top of everything from beginning. They had everything we needed delivered to their residence before he even got discharged from the hospital. The workers (Nurse, Social Worker) were there to see him, even on the holiday weekend when he came home. They were consistently throughout the process, there anytime we needed. The night he progressed to having his last night alive, we were running low on his pain medication and the nurse found a 24/7 pharmacy to get the medication ordered for him and even offered to go and pick it up for us. I cannot say enough great things. They also offer their bereavement services for a year after your loved one’s passing. My significant other ended up getting counseling services with Joe and he’s been excellent. The day of his first session they had to go see his mom right after he just got to our house to work with my spouse. He was ready to offer his support to both loved ones, while changing locations to accommodate my spouse and his mom (who just had lost her husband.) I would highly recommend this company, there is a reason why they have such a great rating and great reviews.

Harmony Cares did a wonderful job helping my 98 year old Mom as she progressed from being confused, then coming out of it a bit and then eventually passing. The Aide Vicki was wonderful, whether it be shower day or just visiting and making her feel special. Nurses Terrie and Kayla were outstanding keeping us informed of the options through the entire process and always treating her with dignity and respect and just plain looking out for her. The social worker and the nurses were fantastic in keeping me aware of what was happening and what to expect along the way. If you have a loved one in need of help in the Port Huron/Marysville area I would highly recommend them

Harmony Cares hospice is amazing. Tracy went above and beyond to help my mom during a difficult time. I am forever grateful to her for the amazing care she provided. She is a wonderful nurse and I can't say enough about how helpful she was. She did not leave my mom's side until she knew she was comfortable. Tina was also so helpful. I wish I had found them sooner, but if you are looking for a hospice service, use them. They are the best.

The experience that we had with Harmony cares Hospice was such a blessing! We used another Hospice company before we learned about Harmony cares for our mother of 89 years. The experience was not short of horrible and because of that, my mother ended up in the hospital, which is the last place she ever wanted to go again. It was such a breath of fresh Air from the moment I called Harmony Hospice to the very end. My mothers nurses were Danielle and Kiersten. They were there for my mother daily and even in the middle of the night when I had to call them, Kirsten was here within an hour and a half. The delicate situation my mother was in, was made more peaceful by Harmony Hospice here at home. I cannot, cannot say enough great things about this company. I tell everyone when they are at that point of needing hospice or care for their loved ones, they should call Harmony Cares Hospice. My mother, unfortunately, passed March 1, 2025, but I know that she was comfortable and at peace and it is due to the direction and Care from her beautiful nurses. My mother’s wish was to be able to pass on in her home and they made it possible. I love this company. I love the people, the nurses & the doctor. If I have another loved one that is needing care, Harmony Hospice will be the first and only company I call.

Everyone at Harmony Cares Hospice has been exceptional in caring for my mother, including nurses Danielle, Annette, Kirsten, social worker Elizabeth, Dr. Rahmanian, Gabby, and the rest, including the on-call nurses and staff. They are compassionate, competent, knowledgeable, experienced, professional, respectful and responsive to our needs at all times. I simply don't know how we would manage without them. We are very fortunate to have my mom in their care.
