BonitaView Sharp HospiceCare

I seriously wish I could give Sharp BonitaView 20 stars. Although we knew my Dad would have very limited time in hospice before passing, my family was so grateful that his remaining 3 days of life was spent at BonitaView. We had been to a number of skilled nursing facilities and we did not want that kind of environment for when he was going to pass. Everything from the room (which was large, private, bright and very comfortable) to the amazing staff who went above and beyond. The nurses checked on him constantly to ensure he wasn't in any pain and treated him and our whole family with dignity and respect during a very painful time. If you have a family member in need of hospice, I literally could not recommend anywhere more than this. I am beyond appreciative for the kindness and most amazing environment. Thank you for providing a place of dignity in dying. Everyone deserves that kind of treatment but only a privileged few can actually receive it and it was because of Sharp that my family is at peace.

What a calm, clean, and relaxing atmosphere here. The staff is so nice and my mother was able to get a full night’s sleep for the first time in a month. We were able to bring some things from home to make her more comfortable. Thankful for resources like this. The view from her room opens to a beautiful garden with hummingbirds stopping in for frequent visits. They have a patient’s kitchen so you can bring in food from outside for your loved one to enjoy. You just mark the container with the patient’s name and it is kept for up to 48 hours. There is a fold-out couch in the room so we each can spend the night with my mom.

This staff.... words cannot describe the care, the patience and the love they exude to patients and families of patients. The facility is wonderful, but most of all the staff of this hospice is above and beyond any I have ever encountered. All I can say is Thank You! If your loved one needs hospice, this facility is the best there is. Period!

The most incredible, caring, & understanding staff. They cared for my Johnny in his final days, the way I cared for him at home. The nurses are fabulous. They called me & informed me when I needed to come right back. Thank you so much. On his last day with us, he suddenly remembered me & told me how much he loved me. If your loved one is passing, this is the facility you want them to be in. I love you John Madsen. It has now been a year of your passing, but I still feel you & you love.

My uncles stay at Bonita Hospice was definitely the best decision that my family made. Your staff was very caring, understanding and helpful, except for an employee by the name of Laura it is a shame that one person will rullen the hard work of others. Overall, and the most important thing was that my uncle was well taken care off.
