We stayed there for two months in August with no issues. We are back because our son who has a 100% DEADLY condition and at 2pm I got the call saying we were good to check in tomorrow at 2pm at 7:30pm I got the call saying they need a different form of ID that I have on file. Please tell me why a state issued student ID is accepted at DMVs social security office, and all other government buildings but not here? Reading their reviews they would be 100% okay with kids not getting care they need because of stupid things like this. Mind you the ID isn’t expired and I just used it at the social security office which has a higher rank than RMHFW. I called other houses in KC and they absolutely accept student IDs. It’s not about helping the kids. They are profiting off of donations because they act like they care

I had a very nice experience staying here for a few weeks. My only complaint is they asked me to leave because my daughter is over the age of 21 who is hospitalized and they made a mistake in missing seeing it on the paperwork. I lost my job in February due to be in her primary caregiver for her illness and I’m also a widow so I don’t have another income provider. They did recommend several hotels in the area which would still cost around $100 a night and they also recommendedan apartment which would run $1000 a month. I found it more affordable to bring my 20-year-old camper and stay at a long-term campground for the next several months.

Staying here due to sisters baby being in cooks children NICU everyone is super nice and helpful the rooms are great for an emergency and cant afford hotels for long periods of time and it is just like staying in a hotel meals are provided but never used them just slept and showered there the only complaint was the shower curtain was very moldy when we checked in but they have all kinds of cleaners under bathroom sink so I cleaned it simply with bleach they have laundry rooms and family rooms it is a very nice place when you are away from home due to An emergency and in a bind

Place of hope, love and comfort at the time when it's needed the most. Having my own child with half a heart I know how much this place is needed and appreciated by families like mine. Our hospital didn't have one of these nearby so I had to drive 40 miles every day to as my child. This night of the organization we belong to cooked and served dinner... HopeKids.. they provide free events for families like mine to enjoy. #LetsGuide

Fortunate to be able to cook breakfast for the folks staying here . Was a blessing to serve them . And was touched by this little guy personally thanking each volunteer one at a time .
