Ronald McDonald House Charities - Yale House

Both my boys were born @ UNMH. Jeremiah was born 3 months premature, in 2004. I had to stay here for 40 days and it was peaceful, the rooms were very clean, food was excellent, and it is close to the hospital campus. The baby ICU there were top notch. My youngest, Isaiah was born in 2005. Now my oldest is in law enforcement and my youngest is in the U.S. Army.

We love the people and the accomodations they had and the facility was very CLEAN!! One thing did stick out. Not much color or art. I'm an artist, me and my daughter paint murals, so we are very familiar with colors and art and how they can be medicine for your soul♥️ I stayed 40 days last year at the other location and I recall no art in the rooms. Once I went back home, I forgot that it was something I wanted to push for. For the families to come. One positive painting of positive images or words can go a long way.I left MaKayla(?) my number if interested we could paint inside on walls or look into a theme for canvas.

The Ronald McDonald House has amazing staff and just a wonderful environment for family. I have nothing but positive things to say about this facility and their staff. They are amazing professionals and go out of their way to help everyone thank you.

This place will forever remain in my heart. When I unexpectedly had my daughter prematurely she ended up staying in the Nicu which made a hard back and forth transport. The case worker at the hospital suggested this place and at first I was supper nervous about staying but I did it for my daughter. When we arrived the lady was so sweet and welcoming to my family and I and made my 3 year old daughter feel comfortable. All the staff were supper sweet and caring and made the experience so much better. Food was very good and I am just so thankful for everyone there and if I had to stay again I wouldn’t have any worries

The staff are amazing! This place made my baby girl feel at ease before her appointment. She absolutely loved the play area. The room was nice and the food they served was delicious. I'm sooo thankful for the Ronald McDonald house and the staff and everyone that donates to the charity. ❤
