Deciding on Hospice is never easy. Candace made the initial process compassionate and easy. Nurse Rebecca was wise beyond her years, with my Mom's good care. CNA Marianne treated my Mom like family. I don't know what my Mom and I would have done without Capital!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care and Compassion from Capital Hospice & Palliative Care Our family is deeply grateful for the incredible care and compassion we received from Capital Hospice & Palliative Care. From the very first moment, their team was receptive, responsive, and truly devoted to providing comfort and dignity every step of the way. A special thank-you to CNA Katrina, whose kindness and gentle care brought peace and comfort each day. Nurse Jennifer was exceptional—always professional, attentive, and quick to respond whenever we had a concern or question. Chaplain Nate offered genuine spiritual support and compassion that touched our hearts, and Ann West, the care coordinator, was an absolute blessing—organized, understanding, and always going above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled smoothly. We also want to recognize the entire support team—from those who delivered medical equipment to the staff who ensured medications arrived promptly. Every single person treated us with warmth, respect, and empathy during such a difficult time. Capital Hospice & Palliative Care doesn’t just provide care—they provide comfort, dignity, and humanity when families need it most. We are forever thankful for their dedication and for the beautiful way they supported our loved one and our family.

My Family and I were introduced to Ann and her Team at Capital Hospice when we made the decision to bring our Mom home from Arden, a memory care facility. Once introduced, there was nothing we could’ve wanted to make our mom comfortable at home that Ann and her Company didn’t provide. Ann went above and beyond supplying everything we needed and more. All we had to do was call or text with our concerns and it was handled right away in such a quick and friendly manner. Please, if you need someone knowledgeable and reliable to answer any questions or concerns regarding hospice care and/or the equipment needed, do not hesitate to call her. Ann’s voice, calm and reassuring will let you know you have nothing to worry about.

I don’t know what my family would have done without Ebony from Capital. She started caring for my mom about a year ago when she signed up for hospice. She was not the easiest patient, but Ebony was so kind to her…and gave the sass my mom gave her right back, which my mom loved. She really helped my dad and us understand what was happening to my mom during every stage. My dad loved Ebony and was so grateful for her. So, when my dad’s health declined and we knew he needed hospice, but he did not want to admit it, Ebony was who I called. She asked questions about how he was doing and based on what I told her his needs were she agreed hospice was best and came over that day to help me talk to him. I think he agreed to sign up just so he could see Ebony again. She called Candice, who is also amazing and so helpful and they were able to sign him up that day and order the things he needed. My dad passed away just a week after that. I am so grateful to Ebony for being there for both of my parents…comforting them and making them laugh…and then doing the same for my brothers and I when my parents were transitioning. It takes a special person to do the job that the Capital staff does. Every staff member we encountered from Capital was helpful and kind and patient, but Ebony went above and beyond for my family…and I am forever grateful to her.

Capital Hospice was wonderful in taking care of my father. From the first visit with Candace and the daily visits from the nursing staff, especially Phyllis and Tamika, the service was great. All staff was polite, caring and helpful in anyway we needed. Taking care of someone who is facing death is not an easy thing to do. My dad looked forward to their visits even up until his last day on earth. Thank you again for all you did for my dad.
