The Kensington Falls Church

We were recently invited to enjoy a scrumptious "Italian Cafe" dinner at the Kensington, prepared by their master chef. As neighbors of the Kensington, we dined with the family of a resident who is happy to be living there. We are impressed with the thoughtfulness of the Kensington staff and how well-maintained the living quarters are. We are told by neighbors who have a relative at the Kensington that the staff are quite caring toward the residents.

We have had two beloved family members live at The Kensington. First, our aunt in Memory Care, and now our mother in Assisted Living. While no facility is absolutely perfect, The Kensington comes about as close as it gets; providing a beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, a wide variety of activities, and, most importantly, a dedicated, caring staff. On that last point, what we have found is that The Kensington really prioritizes staff retention; ensuring that they keep and develop people that are really contributing to the facility’s “We treat your family the way we would treat our own” ethos. That is a real distinguishing factor that, when it was time for our Mom to move to an ALF, made us believe that The Kensington was our only choice. We are extremely satisfied, and I wouldn’t mind eventually joining the community myself (hopefully in the somewhat distant future).

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an educational wellness event at Kensington Falls Church, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The team was incredibly welcoming, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. The residents were highly engaged and showed great interest in learning about how acupuncture and integrative approaches can help with chronic pain, sleep, stress, and overall well-being. It was especially meaningful to see such enthusiasm for education and proactive health management. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a caring and professional community and look forward to hosting more events together in the future. The Kensington Falls Church is exceptional! The community is beautiful, but what sets it apart is the incredible team. They are not just compassionate but treat each and every resident as family. You feel the warmth the moment you walk in.

Our family joined my mother -in-law at the Kensington for a holiday dinner - one of the many extra activities the Kensington hosts for their assisted living residents. The staff always makes us all feel like family. In addition to providing top-notch care, the food is delicious and healthy and the facility feels like a home. We are very grateful to the staff for proving a safe, well managed and comfortable home for our family member.
