My Mother And Father Are Buried Here Well Kept Cemetery

We have several relatives that are buried here. It is a well-kept and respectful cemetery where you feel the presence of the Lord. However, about 10 years ago, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia outsourced the maintenance and management of their cemeteries to a third party then called StoneMor, Inc., now known as EverStory Partners. This decision by former Archbishop Chaput was one of the worst during his tenure (and there were plenty). In particular, the fees and bureaucracy and costs have skyrocketed. This is not something that families in mourning should have to deal with. Needs to be less business and more compassion, in line with the Catholic faith.

Fabulous Friendly Service - I recently visited the gravesite of my great grandparents. On of the hottest days of the year. I pulled in on one side of the cemetery, as it was my very first time I was lost. Lou & Louis were in their truck and I asked them directions to Plot W, they happily invited me to follow them across the road to the correct section. Once there, I had to search for my grandparents grave row by row. It was a very hot and humid day. After leaving me with advise to be careful, Lou & Louis returned a 15 minutest later with an ICE COLD bottle of water. It was wonderful, they arrived just as I found the grave. We talked about the cemetery and the old head stone. It was a real pleasure being treated with kindness from the start of my journey through the end. I included a picture from my older cousin who used to visit the grave regularly. Jimmy Verzicco and his mother. It includes a picture of my GGF Antonio Verzicco and Sammy Verzicco who are in peace there. And pictures of Lou on the left and Louis on the right! Cemeteries are not a place of sadness, the are a place of peace and a chance to commune in nature and with our ancestors. It was good day.

From photos, looks very well maintained. Is it safe nowadays to visit? Are photos allowed? My great grandparents are buried there.

I went to visit my Aunt's grave site today along with my Great Grand parents graves. All was well. Its been a few years since I had a chance to visit their graves. The cemetery is well maintained. I pulled some weeds and polished their head stone.
