My mother and I have waited over 2 months to receive the price of a headstone for my father. We met with Thomas in January to pick out our headstone, designed everything, and he was supposed to come back to us with a price. He never got back to us, even when my mother reached out to him multiple times. Truly heartbreaking that my grieving family is being treated like this. Our significant loss and grief is not being taken seriously and we have been pushed aside.

Avid hiker and walker and long time outdoor club leader and adventure guide. Note - not rating this location based on actual funeral/burial experience here. Simply as a place to walk the grounds are emmaculate, well maintained, and very inviting. Great spot to stretch your legs amidst the various, some stunning, gravesites and markers. Lots of famous Philadelphians and other transplants buried in this section of Laurel Hill, including the founder of Mother's Day, the guy who created the cowboy hat (Stetson), congressmen, supreme court justices, and the first African-American woman to receive a Ph.D. in the US - Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander. Check out their original location across the river in Philadelphia - Laurel Hill (East) for another great walking spot filled with even more famous people.

I was visiting the area on Sunday May 18th, 2025 to walk the trail and visit this cemetery. This place is huge! I actually got lost trying to get out bit I managed. There's even a Jewish cemetery inside the grounds. The streets are marked but I suggest using a navigation aid to guide yourself around this magnificent cemetery.

Similar to Laurel Hill East without as much historical internment. It's a beautifully landscaped cemetery. This is worth the visit just for a relaxing walk across the lush and tree lined roadways. For exercise or fresh air it would be very nice. There are some famous people buried here just like the East side but not nearly as many. The caretakers building is worth a visit too. There is an old fashioned horse drawn carriage worth seeing and it's a good stop for water/restrooms.

I received a call from a kind gentleman who apologized for the mixup. He found my acct. and promptly placed an order for my Dads dated plate. I feel so much better! He was very empathetic. Thanks for handling our families issue. Your kindness went a long way.
