I'm not Jewish, but heard about an interfaith service for Thanksgiving and it was so awesome. Would love to go next year.

While this shul has a great community, as an orthodox jew, this place's prayer may not be suitable for the more religious folk. If you are looking for a religious shul, this isn't it. If you want to start at a less religious shul, this place may be for you

I have attended Beth El's High Holiday Services for about 35 years, spiritually benefitting from all of my experiences there!! Let's face it, if you "believe" in The Lord, Our Father, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit, Creator of The Universe, then where you worship conforms with your beliefs, or you find another place to worship!!!

My experience of this place is limited, so far, to driving by it several times a week. I was surprised and impressed with the promineent "WE SUPPORT ISRAEL" sign in front of the building, and the fact that I was surprised says a lot about the sorry state of American Jewry at this point in our history. I left Conservative services for Chabad services when the movement dropped the beautiful Sim Shalom prayer book and the Hertz Chumash for something far less spiritually satisfying. Does anyone know which books this synagogue is currently using?
