Karen has let me down so many times she is over stretching herself and not helping me as much as I need. She'll actually argue with me when we finally get on a call. She's never taken the time to meet with me in person. I almost lost my house in 2025. If I followed Karen's advice I'd actually be homeless right now. I know she is trying her best but not actually meeting with your clients is on you not me.

I am writing this review to share my horrible experience with the Karen Gill law firm. I contacted their office to set up trust for my wife and me. We agreed to a $4000 flat fee, which I paid in advance the same day via Zelle. Then they scheduled my wife and I for a zoom appointment with attorney Karen on January 9th, 2026, at 1:15 pm to go over the trust planning. On the day of the appointment, I received a call from the office around 11:40 am informing me that Attorney Karen would not be able to do the meeting (I had taken 1/2 of vac from work) due to something that had come up. I understood and respected that. However, a week passed and I did not here back. I contacted the office again and was told Karen would call me back on January 21st at 3pm. I waited but I did not receive a call. I followed up again on January 23rd and was told by staff that will have Karen call me back but no call again from Karen. On January 29th, I directly emailed Karen explaining the multiple attempts that I made to speak with her and now since my wife is out of town for next few months, I would like to have refund. She responded that she had multiple things come up with her and her staff members from death, cancer, and family member being sick. I expressed my condolences and understood the situation. Then she finally agreed to refund the full $4000, After multiple follow up with Karen, I finally received the check on Feb 17th, and she gave me every excuse that someone could think of before mailing the check. The service I experienced was extremely disappointing. While I understand the emergencies and personal matters happen, but repeated broken promises were unnecessary. Based on my experience, I would not hire this firm!!

Karen and her staff at Gill Estate Law are amazing! when we first started into the process with my brothers estate it was overwhelming and we were out of state. We called several other places at first and either they were extremely expensive or they just seemed not friendly or did not call us back. We were at our wits end until we got ahold of Karen and the awesome staff at Gill Estate Law, Karen and her team helped us navigate through the process and were very communicative and patient even when I was sending them tons of questions. Highly recommend!
