Armed Forces Retirement Home - Washington DC

What a peaceful and green location located in the middle of the bustling City. I think most visitors who are not visiting the soldiers' retirement home are coming here to visit President Lincoln summer cottage, as I did. But it is a beautiful discovery to see the beauty of this location, which is on a hill and you can even enjoy views of the Capitol building.

This is a great place, I don't have to worry about my dad while he's there, they take real good care for there residents there. And real nice to there visitors.

Wonderful truly dedicated staff in very pleasant people throughout the hospital and Fisher house. From the time you walk in the door until the time I leave. You are greeted with a friendly smile and concern for everyone if you're OK and if you need anything this was truly a pleasant visit.

Visited Lincoln's Cottage with a small, homeschool group. Must say the Cottage was unknown to me and so glad I found it! Full of Lincoln history!! The leader of our group was phenomenal and able to adapt her lessons/lectures to All ages 5 to 40!! Fantastic and haunting experience. To imagine the soldiers on the lawn, Lincoln being able to hear the battles in nearby Virginia....chills. If you are looking for an authentic experience, visit Lincoln's Cottage, his presence can be felt hear more than anywhere in the city.

Very nice place. Clean, staff are very caring. The residents are nice. Glad my grandfather is there.
