Dogwood Terrace by Barclay House

My mom lived at Dogwood Terrace for 10 years. It was one of the best choices our family made after my Dad passed. She had many friends there and thoroughly enjoyed the many social activities they offered. The staff were always helpful and really cared about Mom. We never had to worry as they always kept us informed in any situation. They also have a bus for shopping, medical appointments and other activities. Mom loved it because she could be independent even when she gave up driving. The culinary staff and food service employees were professional and engaging. Mom loving referred to everyone at Dogwood as a valued and important member of her family. Thank you Dogwood Terrace for being a wonderful part of our Mom's final years.

This is a very nice facility. It is clean, well maintained, and designed with many pleasant areas both public and private. The Sales Manager, Chris Best, is cordial and informative without being overly aggressive.

Well maintained, guests welcomed, friendly staff and residents

I have regularly attended meetings at Dogwood Terrace for the past several years and have been very positively impressed with the facility, residents and staff. The facility has a fresh, bright and welcoming feeling throughout and the staff, especially Chris Best, is always cheerful and upbeat. The residents are fortunate to live in such a facility as Dogwood Terrace with caring staff, a safe attractive environment, excellent nutritious food and the opportunity for social interaction. If the need should arise I would certainly consider moving there myself.

They almost killed my dad and were consistently rude to me. My dad stayed there and was not cared for at all. When I found him, he had been on the floor for days. They only ever reached out to me to ask for money and charged him rent while he was in the hospital due to their own neglect. They would charge a deceased tenet rent due to policy. The lady at the front desk is sassy and rude when you ask for help. Terrible place, much better options nearby.
