August Healthcare at Richmond

I'm very excited about havig my Wife Debbie there at the August Healthcare of Richmond a very nice facility not to big and not to small just right. The staff are very polite and very helpful with our Love one we are sure and feel very positive they will do everything in there control to help her..I was sold during my tour and after her being there I have seen all positive moves...the Nurses and Cna's and Rehab and Nurse Practitioners were very helpful in ensuring she has everything she needs..I myself Dau Apri and Son Kevin are very satisfied with your facility and I highly recommend them for other families...The most important goals is helpful someone that can't help themselves and try to get them back to atleast where they were before there event..What else can I say nothing but all positives no negatives...I take my hat off to your influence and potential importance to the community in a time of family needs...salute...Billy Nivens Jr. AKA BJ

My mom came to August Healthcare in the West End to recuperate from a broken hip, and it's been a very positive experience. She has been making a steady recovery thanks to the excellent therapy staff as well as all of the care & medical staff. They've made her feel like they truly care about her, which is not always the case at SNFs. Also, my mom who is a picky eater has enjoyed all her meals!

The staff was very welcoming on this move in day! I was able to participate in a lovely activity of planting seeds with my niece. The staff was very patient and included everyone on the activity. Positive experience.

I am blessed to have access to be living here at this time & season of my life. I am a little upset that the internet service is ineffective & I was also informed that cable would be available in my apartment. It looks like those two things that was guaranteed with my lease agreement was totally withdrawn from my apartment & I had call to share it with management over 3 times & never got a response. I am hoping that anyone else that chooses to come live here want get that false expectation. This is a really nice place to live & it’s very frustrating on how the staff will not respond at all & just tell me why they won’t fix the problems to one of the first things that ensured that I would have good internet service that was included in my monthly rent. Being that I would go purchase my own I know they would totally disagree in me withdrawing the difference from my monthly rent. I just want the best for August Health Care. Thank you

I enjoy my living conditions, Would love to see meals offered to the independent living residents. The meals are served only to those who are sick and shut-in. My 2 cats love being at August Retirement, I consider this is Home. Thanks August Retirement Community. Ms.Kitty
