My grandma was in this facility. About three weeks ago she was so sick she couldn't move. I came and picked her up and what I found was disgusting. Her room smelt like urine and her recliner had feces on it. They had me wheel her out of the facility in a broken wheel chair (she never needed one before). We get up to the hospital and she had an infection so bad she went septic. When I went to grab some clothes and her phone. One lady who works there told me she was sick for almost a week and she reported it to the other staff and no one did anything. The day she became septic, they refused to call an ambulance!!! I was told it is policy that if they are coherent, they are not allowed? Yesterday my family went to pick up and pack up her belongings as she has transferred to a new facility. What they found was her belongings tossed in bags. Dirty and clean clothes mixed. Her bedding still terrible. Her pictures tossed. They was also met with disrespect, attitude and smug people. This facility has gone down hill and doesn't treat the elderly very nice. They are not very clean and organized either. Absolutely terrible. Do not send your loved one here!

To the person working today when we showed up to pick up my best friends moms belongings, shame on you!!!!! You were nothing but rude and disrespectful! We found the belongings all carelessly thrown into trash bags and were told "in the storage room" Her mom had lived there a year, and the condition she was in when she had to be taken to the hospital was elder abuse!! I have worked in the health care industry for 35 years and never have I witnessed the type of people they have working there taking care of peoples loved ones. If I owned this business, i would definitely check on my employees for the "quality of care" the residents are receiving. Thank goodness the woman who is like a mother to me no longer had to be subject to the happenings there.

I thought highly of Theres a Hart until recently. My mother was there for a year. She became sick and her doctor recommended going to the ER. The facilty said it was against policy to call an ambulance if she was coherent or conscious. My daughter took her, and she had an infection to the point she became septic. 3 weeks in the hospital awaiting a bed at a rehab facility to recover. Today we went to collect her things and everything had been dumped in trash bags and put in a storage room. The aide on duty was extremely rude. I now have to sort through the collection of bags to find the items she needs in rehab. I dont know what is happening but they have gone down hill fast. I dont recommend.

My mother has been at There’s a Hart for several years. It is a small family-run assisted living. We have been pleased with mom’s care. There is something special about smaller facilities. I highly recommend it
