Washington Kali Temple

Beautiful Hindu temple offers a variety of Indian Gods and Goddesses, and serves Prasad. They highlight the peaceful and divine atmosphere, and the ample parking. Friendly volunteer staff and priests. This is one such place where you will get Bengali Priests which is very tough to find in USA.

About an hour from DC... Beautiful temple and surroundings... Attended the pujo last week and had a lovely chat with the Purohit Samar Da who carried out the Pujo with utmost devotion... We were visiting the first time from Raleigh and were treated with delicious Prasad afterwards... Would love to go back during Kali Pujo...

It’s very hard to describe a religious place as it’s very subjective. I personally love the mandir and it’s ambiance. Everyone volunteering there and also the priests are really nice and welcoming.

I went on a weekday. It is very empty. But weekdays are packed. Very calm atmosphere with friendly pandits. Easy to offer puja and very good place to meet new people and have a great time. Online live puja can be observed.
