Fabrangen Havurah

As usual, it was wonderful yesterday ... This warm, egalitarian, participatory community has been operating for nearly 50 years (now in its 4th location and sharing space at the Washington Ethical Society). It is a classic - indeed pioneering - "havurah." Visitors are welcomed to services held Saturday mornings at 9:30. Holiday services are also held, times and sometimes locations vary. Services are mainly in Hebrew; Torah discussion (in English) is a highlight. Shabbat services are over just after noon followed by kiddish.
