AseraCare Hospice Care, an Amedisys Company

My husband was admitted to Ascera care hospice in April of 2019. From the minute the admitting nurse ( Daryl Smith ) came our home he was very kind and supportive. With seamless admission. An RN came the very next day to do an assessment on my husband Lasonya Jackson I found her to be be very compassionate and professional. She made a thorough assessment and both of us feel very cared about. She has continued to this day to be very professional, supportive and truly caring about both my husband and myself. I spoke with Liz the manager almost daily and she made sure that we were provided with all we needed for his home care. She too was very kind and helpful. Very supportive alway willing to help. Right on top of everything, The aides who cared for Lee have been outstanding especially Star. She is Very experienced and my husband really bonded with Star on her first visit. I can't tell you how wonderful she cared for my husband. She was Very thorough. She treats my husband like he is a family member. We so appreciate her expertise and the excellent care she has provided. We Really really appreciate her. Latoya Baxter is the social worker who has followed us from our first admission. Going above and beyond than any social worker I have ever met. I have felt really cared about me I felt very supportive We were enrolled in palliative care with Aurora at Home. It was an aweful experience in so many ways which I will not expound on. At any rate if I was to rate the Asera hospice I would give them A++++++++++++++++++++. God bless Asera hospice. I can't say enough about thie wonderful and caring hospice agency. I can't thank them enough for all they have done for my husband and myself during this most difficult time. God bless Asera Care.

My wife always tells me she is so lucky to be part of such a great team. Everyone is so supportive of each other and all the different disciplines each bring something special to their patients.

At the end of your life, how do you want to feel? How do you want your loved ones to feel? For this Hospice team the answer is: LOVED. Not only will you get superb physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual care from Aseracare, but you will get love. This team loves people, and this team loves what they do!

Just want to share my feelings towards your staff, how wonderful everyone has been with the help for my Mother. From Latoya in social services to my nurse Mary. Caring wonderful people at a hard time in our family’s life. Found out today of Mary’s relocation and just wanted to tell AseraCare how amazing Mary is. Smart caring, professional has a beautiful heart. I’m very sad I won’t see her as often as I did but want to thank her for her amazing talent for helping the elderly and their families. I will never forget her and wish her well in her next assignment. Thank you Mary, you are the best. Dwight
