The United Church

Clearly built by those of German ancestry, I only happened on this church by chance. It was a sight to be seen. There's very little foot traffic in Foggy Bottom during the day and even less in cold weather....which is a gift from on high. I'd love to see this from the inside. Someday.

Union congregation of United Methodist and United Church of Christ with German heritage. Open and affirming membership, with services available weekly in English and separate services in German twice monthly. All are welcome here. "You are precious, sacred, and beloved of God, always."

Good people...older crowd...made me feel welcome and the message was intellectually stimulating.
