Capital Caring Health Pain Clinic at Sibley Hospital

This review is long overdue. I want to thank the staff for their support, service and care they provided for my brother as he transitioned. They were simply amazing. My family and I want to thank you for making a difficult time just a little easier.

My uncle/bonus father passed away September 23 2023, at Capital Caring inpatient hospice at Sibley Memorial Hospital. The doctor who signed his death certificate put the wrong year for his date of birth. The Clinical Director knew a mistake was made and never reached out to me. After 2 weeks and no death certificate. I inquired and the funeral home was waiting for a corrected copy from Capital Caring. I spoke to Mr. Chinor Collick the Clinical Director he admitted they made a mistake he knew they were cupable for the mistake. He said he would call me and update me on the progress of getting the error rectified. Of course I never heard from him and I still don't have a death certificate. This is causing emotional and financial hardship and I don't understand how someone can be so cruel and uncaring. Mr. Collick hands out business cards like candy on Halloween. Sometimes you have to back up that business card and do the right thing. I received more care and compassion when my dog died. Please help me get his death certificate along with his remains and do what you said you were going to do Mr. Collick. Restore my faith in your organization, or change your business name and leave the word caring out.

My husband was there. I liked the place and the service. The only thing I didn't like was that I left him fine on Sunday, and on Monday when I arrived, he was so different. I asked the nurse, and she told me he had a bad night. But if we leave our information, why don't they call the family and tell them what's happening, no matter the time? Since that day, I haven't seen my husband awake or spoken to him. And that night they said he was already starting the process of reaching the end. 🤷‍♀️ My whole family was in shock. How could it happen so fast?! They're doing a terrible job because they don't tell the relatives what's happening with the patients. Their communication is awful.

Our mom passed away during her stay at Sibley - Capital Caring Health 3 weeks ago and without the caring team there, the experience would have been much more painful. Not only the facilities were top-notch, the nurses, doctors went out of their way to provide comfort to our mom and mental support to our family. Thank you so much and we are so grateful for your professionalism, services.

Largely unavailable and intermittent.., Do not hire this firm if you are not local. And take care if you are local. Our family is not happy.
