My sister has had Dementia for at least 7 years. We searched for a Memory Care Facility quite extensively and City View Memory Care came in the number one choice for us, because of the amazing and caring staff, activities, large bedroom and clean facility, with a variety of programs offered. Dawna has been absolutely wonderful, paving a smooth and organized path for us to get my sister, helping to place my sister at City View. As well, Celia, Marcia, Avi are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, caring and kind. The on-staff caregivers and med Team are also wonderful. They engage with my sister and the other tenants and help to keep them safe, clean and comfortable. Thank you to City View Memory Care for making my sister feel "at home", as well as my family!

From our very first meeting and tour, through the move-in process and now day-to-day care, the staff at this assisted living facility have been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and kind. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and feels genuinely caring. Communication has been excellent — we always feel informed and confident that my dad is being well looked after. The food and dining areas are clean and inviting, and the overall environment feels safe and comfortable. One of the standout perks is the beautiful rooftop with a 360-degree view of Los Angeles — truly special. We are so grateful for the care and professionalism shown here and highly recommend this assisted living facility to other families.

I am so grateful to have found City View. I was so impressed with the administrator Dawna B from the moment we met. I simply walked in one day looking for a placement for my family friend. Dawna is kind, compassionate and so well suited for this position. She is attentive and clear in her explanations of how things work. She is charismatic and someone who makes you feel welcome and that she knows what you are going through. Dawna and her team gave me a tour of the facility and especially the memory care floor which is what we needed. We get off the elevator and see that there is a lot of staff working with the residents and reassuring them and redirecting them when needed. They have a lovely open air patio that is in the center of the donut shaped floor plan that everyone can access by just walking through the door. I especially love the donut floor plan as one can walk a continuous circle without getting lost and also get your steps in. You do not feel claustrophobic and can keep walking freely all day if you want. They have an activities program and keep the residents occupied with Bingo and crafts and also field trips to Target so they have an off campus experience. The finance office keeps tabs of their spending money that we deposit from time to time. The meds nurses call me when medication is getting low or for whatever my loved one needs. I come in for visits when I want and always find my friend well cared for and happy. We have been to another facility before, and I have found my friend’s grooming to be lacking. At City View, he is clean and properly dressed and teeth brushed. I highly recommend City View Assisted Living. I am sure it is so well run because Dawna B is overseeing operations, and that gives me a lot of comfort. In this search for an assisted care for our loved one, we have to keep in mind that no place will be perfect in every way all the time. Things are not perfect even in our own home. The caregivers at City View are hard working and compassionate. They will get to know your loved one’s personality and likes and dislikes. They will try to accommodate their needs as much as they can. For instance, when I bring my loved one back from an outing and dinnertime has passed, the caregivers will say they have saved him a dinner plate because they know he likes to eat. I see there is a system and procedures in place that come from the top, and they have thought of everything.

City View has been a God-send! I was so confused and worried about caring for my husband when he was showing signs of dementia. Then one of my good friends recommended that I check with City View for his care. Every staff member and caregiver that I have encountered give full attention and love to each of their residents. They are very attentive and positive and bring lots of joy to the residents. City View offers many fun activities, art classes, movies and music. From the moment I contacted City View they could not have been kinder and more focused on helping my husband with his needs. He is now a happy and satisfied resident at City View and I could not be more thankful and relieved.
