Rockland Place

Rockland Place is a wonderful place for your loved ones. My husband was there 9 years ago. He was well taken care of, the meals were delicious (I ate with him a few times), & the staff was very dedicated to the residents. Now, my cousin is living there and it seems to be even better than before. Marie Velazquez is phenomenal! She is kind, friendly & caring and always smiling & upbeat! She loves the residents (& their guests) and it shows in her interactions with them. I think she probably knows everyone's name! I've only met a few other employees so far, and they were all very helpful & made me feel comfortable. If you're looking for a place, take a tour of Rockland Place and see for yourself.

I was sad when my friend’s dementia has declined to a point that she had to be moved to an assisted living facility. However, since I’ve been there and seen it, I wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else! She is very happy there. She always has a smile on her face. Her hair is cut and clean, and her room and laundry are well cared for. The environment is clean, has friendly staff, prepared meals in a nice dining room, many activities, a hair salon, and much more.

Rockland place is such a great and friendly community. I’ve visited a few times before and I love It! It’s so different from many other communities.. There are many people there that made my experience so special! Marie Velazquez, she’s always smiling, is kind hearted and very professional. Paul Taylor is funny, kind and really good at making one feel right at home! Kimberly L. along with Tymesha M. are also amazing at what they do! They make sure the residents are safe, well cared for, and comfortable! Rockland has plenty of great staff that just make Rockland not feel like a work environment but they make It feel like home..

This community is so different than all the other ones I’ve visited.. rockland has amazing workers that go above and beyond! Marie Velazquez the sales director is amazing she always has a smile on her face! Then we have Sharon, the activities director she’s always so positive and hard working! Rockland has amazing activities and WU classes! Rockland is a great happy environment for your loved ones!
