Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens

I had previously had my preplan at Woodlawn but due to divorce had to make changes. I went there multiple times and given misinformation when bought a marker then told paperwork would be done ... made numerous calls but no response after 2 yrs finally called office instead of number for CSR ...she had been let go and paperwork was never finalized. Woodlawn never followed up on any of her clients. Finally decided to transfer my plot to Forest Lawn...Brandy was very helpful...work thru all the incomplete paperwork with me and even purchased another plot for family. Treated with respect and satisfaction with service. Thank you Brandy for your care and understanding of my frustrations.

Did a fantastic job handling our dad arrangement. Staff was great in understanding the needs and compassionate with all situations.Ms. Myra also did a exceptional job in trying to handle all the request that came up. Staff was courteous in these trying and devastating times. I had no complaints or concerns during the arrangement and burial procedures.i would and have highly recommend them to other people in these times of loss of love ones or friends.

We were charged approximately $4000 additionally, just to have my mother‘s service on a Sunday afternoon! We were not made aware of this when we paid for her funeral arrangements months before. Even if we had been, there’s no excuse for charging additional money when they didn’t even have to dig a grave. They only open the mausoleum slid my mom‘s casket in and glued the stone back on! Lots of people have to work Monday through Friday and do not have the benefit of taking off from work to attend a funeral for people they dearly love. Michael Frazier the GM was no help whatsoever.

Forest Lawn, took great care of my brothers Funeral, the facility was very clean & friendly & also practice all Covid Rules & regulations, very helpful getting the flowers in from the florists and arranging them. Our Minister delivered a great message and many of our family members are buried here. Very great full to them during our time of Loss.

I can not say enough good things about the staff here, Michael and Christina went above and beyond to accommodate us during our loss. The chapel was beautiful and set up way above any of our expectations. The viewing of it brought me to tears. Every aspect of my grandfather was portrayed that day... the peanut bar, cherry pies, squirrels, bird feeders, and Budweiser toast really made it more of a celebration than a passing. I am impressed beyond words with each of them. It was very unique and made us all feel his presence with us throughout the day. You guys gave my family comfort and the support we needed to make it through... thank you from the depths of my soul, I will always be grateful to each of you!!
