I reached out to this facility about providing live music programming for residents. Over the course of 6 months, I dealt with repeated communication drop-offs, no follow-through on scheduling, and was asked to make an in-person visit (40+ minutes away) to establish my credentials — all without a single booking materializing. As a doctoral-level musician offering high-quality, affordable entertainment, my time and professional expertise deserve basic respect and clear communication. People like this make it unnecessarily hard for those who choose to pursue meaningful work professionally, while their residents are the ones ultimately deprived of quality experiences. A simple "we're not interested" would have gone a long way. Sarah and Carla were the contacts throughout this process - I do not appreciate them wasting my time. I hope they reflect on how this reflects on the facility's commitment to their residents and to the professionals they engage.

Dinny, my wife, fell and broke her hip. We tried home-care; we lost our privacy. We tried a nursing home; overkill. We decided that me at age 91 and Dinny at 89 it might be time to move to an assisted living facility. We chose Chesterbrook in April 2022, and have been more than satisfied with our 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, a living room, and small kitchen with full sized appliances. We get 3 nourishing meals each day, with good care, good clean housekeeping, in a well maintained building. Chesterbrook isn’t perfect, but it comes close. After managing retirement-care facilities for 37 years I should be good judge. A plus is no entrance fee, and residents can have incomes from $0 up to $225,000, a feature NO OTHER facility can meet. My mother is independent but has vision and mobility issues. She moved to Chesterbrook less than three months ago. We were impressed from the start. I've seen her blossom there, making friends and participating in activities every day. The staff is exceptional -- they get to know every resident personally. I know my mother feels safe and supported. She is no longer isolated like she was when she was living alone. In fact, after just four weeks, she told me that she loved everything about living at Chesterbrook!
And the food is great!

My mother moved into Chesterbrook residences about six months ago. From our initial visit at Chesterbrook up until today we have only had positive experiences. The staff was helpful and supportive in going through the processing paperwork and their warm welcome helped make my mother’s transition a smooth one. The staff is cheerful and responsive, the residences are clean and maintained, they offer a wide range of activities and the food is good! I feel she is in a safe place and well cared for.

A few years ago my mother in law lived at Chesterbrook and loved it, now my mom is also there. For the past 4 years our experience with Chesterbrook has been wonderful. The staff is caring and concerned for all their residents, and my mother loves the many activities that are offered daily. My family has been thrilled to have found such a special place for our loved ones to live. Thank you Chesterbrook staff!
