Sunrise of Bethesda

My mom was lucky to be here for the last 10 months of her life. I was so impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and not just when people were looking. They treated her with dignity and respect through her whole journey. The activities provided and the general atmosphere were so positive and caring. I highly recommend Sunrise Bethesda!

My father is so happy here! He and I adore the staff so much! There is always a friendly, fun-loving and active vibe amongst the staff and they demonstrate so much deep care for the residents. Dad is a bit of a food snob, and he LOVES the food here. He always tells me how much he loves it there. I think he thinks he is living in a fancy high-rise apartment with a special restaurant downstairs. I cannot recommend this place enough for their excellent care for residents and families!

Superb care. We had my father in law here prior to COVID and received such great care that we decided to bring my mother in law here this past year. The staff always puts the safety, well being and cleanliness of the residents first. In addition, the staff is well trained and sensitive to the needs of the residents. The dining experience is always top notch with good food with breakfast lunch and dinner- their family brunches are always a hit!

Sunrise of Bethesda is such a warm and welcoming community. From day one, our family has been provided with such attention to detail and genuine care and concern. What makes this community so special is the feeling of being part of a new family where the care for your loved one's well being is a top priority. There is clear and consistent communication. Everyone at Sunrise of Bethesda has taken the time to get to know us. The medical team is phenomenal! Our loved one has thrived here and is so engaged with all the wonderful activities. They have a motto which we have seen "living with purpose". We have to say our loved one is enjoying her life and has made new friends while embracing the confidence which accompanies being in a resident driven community. Sunrise of Bethesda has done an excellent job caring for my mom for over a year. After having a stroke and dealing with dementia it has not been easy for her or the family, but she has adjusted and is doing very well. This is easily the best ALF in the area and night and day compared to a different facility she was at in 2020. The facility is new, beautiful, clean, and all the staff have been great. Everyone truly cares and anytime issues or concerns have arose, they have been addressed to my liking. Mimi and Anu have been great providing support and keeping me updated. I am thankful for all of the staff and caregivers, and their hard work does not go unnoticed.
