First Hijra Muslim Community Center

It really doesn't matter if you are white, brown, or black. If you are a human, you are welcome here! MashaAllah! As a Muslim international student, I have been coming here for the last 3 years and honestly THIS feels like home. The people, the food (iftar every monday and friday, community lunch sunday, whole Ramadan iftar), the community is just absolutely amazing. Never felt like I'm not welcome here because I'm brown. The brotherhood, the jokes, the duas, all will warm you heart! Alhamdulillah!

It says they are open on google and the door is locked, I call the number and it's a fake number. I don't know why we are stopping others from offering Salah, but shame on whoever keeps moving these doors. Every single day I come in the morning time and this masjid isn't open!

I lived in DC while working and going to school and this place felt like home. Alhamdulilah the community was so warm and welcoming I miss it and I'm happy I had the opportunity to pray here! May Allah increase the leaders of this community center and Allow them to keep growing Ameen.

The place is right on the main. It has a provision for wudu and has plenty of space for namaaz with 2 floors. Very clean as well. Edit: The Jummah Khudba is at 1:30 currently and the namaaz follows.
